When I was making casettes for my other two albums, Songs I Sleep to and Harsh Noise Music for Harsh, Noisy Christians, I recorded over tapes I got from a thrift store. After splicing, I had a ton of loose tape left over. I used random cuts from this excess tape, and made a loop out of it, which I then used to make this weird little ambient soundscape. The kalimba sample was from Simon the Magpie's Kalooper collab project, and the bassline was from my Bass Station II.
